EECO's Taste of Nature - A Sparkling Wine Tasting and Fundraiser
Did you know that all sparkling wine is not the same? There are differences based on the types of grapes used as well as how they are produced. And once you know the difference, you will be able to tell which is which by tasting it! Have fun and get educated for the Holidays with A Taste of Nature virtual sparkling wine tasting and fundraiser event on November 17th at 8pm ET.
You will receive three different sparkling wines (one each of three different kinds), all wrapped to keep the labels hidden. Then, we’ll gather on Zoom with a professional sommelier to learn how to taste sparkling wine and try to discern which ones are which. We’ll also discover a bit about the geography, weather, and how different sparkling wines are made (we had to include some “environmental education” in the fun!).
Each ticket to this event includes three full bottles of wine, which is enough for up to 6 people to enjoy the event. So, make it a fun evening with friends!
For $175, here is what all you will receive:
- Wine: We will ship you three full-size 750ml bottles of wine (one each of the three different types of sparkling wines), wrapped to keep their labels hidden. This is enough for 6 people to have a great time, so make it a social event!
- Information: A guide to blind tasting of wines, a guide to wine varietals, and a brief guide to wine climates.
- Pairing Recommendations – We won’t be sending you food, but if you want to have some fun bites to go with your wine for this event, we’ll include some recommended nibbles to have along with your tasting.
- The Virtual Gathering – We’ll all gather on Zoom on November 17th at 8pm until about 9:30pm to taste the wines together and learn more about the geography, climate and production of sparkling wines.
We are thrilled that Kendeigh Worden, sommelier and owner of thegrapegrind.com will be guiding us through the evening. And the wines will be curated by Kendeigh and Lifetime Vintage to be shipped right to your doorstep!
The event is on November 17th at 8pm, but we need time to package and ship the wines to all attendees, so registration will close on October 31st. Sign up now with the registration link on the top left of this page.
Wines cannot be shipped to the following states:
Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, Utah, South Dakota, Alaska and Hawaii
